Rev. Beth Love is the founder of Eat for the Earth, a nonprofit organization that makes it easier for people to eat more plants and less animal products to sustain all life on Earth. The organization was launched on January 19, 2019, and has grown exponentially. We fulfill our mission and purpose through education, advocacy, and partnerships with institutions, creating policies and practices that increase plant food consumption and decrease consumption of animal products. Our initial geographic focus is Santa Cruz County, California. We also partner with organizations and activists to bring about change in other areas through coalitions, shared actions, and our Eat for the Earth Communities initiative. Rev. Love is the author of the Tastes Like Love book series. She has supported hundreds of individuals, families, and groups through transformational processes. A gifted nonprofit leader, speaker, facilitator, teacher, and ordained minister, Beth has motivated and educated people in diverse contexts such as nonprofit organizations, schools, churches, businesses, and the California State Prison system. She has inspired large and small audiences, in-person and through radio and television, from local community TV to the Oprah show. Rev. Love started Eat for the Earth in response to her concern about the contribution of animal agriculture to climate change and other environmental issues. My husband Golden and I started WholenessWorks to inspire practical and profound choices that promote wholeness and sustainability for individuals, families, communities, the earth, and all her inhabitants. The Tastes Like Love division supports people in eating more plants and fewer animal products, or even going all the way to fully plant-based if they choose.
