Bio
Dr. Karen Hills Pruden, DM, CDE, SPHR
It is with great pleasure that I write this recommendation for Beth. Beth and I collaborated on a book project together, Complicated Alliances: Accounts of Career Women in the U.S. Armed Forces and Women Who Love Men in the U.S. Armed Forces. The focus of the book was to highlight the competing forces that women have to overcome while trying to maintain a career and their relationship with the Armed Forces. As one of the co-authors, Beth's shared experience listed the challenges of maintaining a career as a spouse of a man in the U.S. Armed Forces. Beth was the ideal candidate for the anthology. A highly accomplished career woman with accolades of her own, Beth was professional and adhered to the deadlines of the project with grace. With all of my book projects, I stay in touch with the authors and champion their significant milestones and successes as we mature in this atmosphere called life. With Beth I will continue to watch her soar.

It is my pleasure to share that Beth Howell has been tirelessly serving as an outstanding Team Co-Leader, in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Corporate Guidebook Series. Beth has demonstrated tenacity in this project, coalescing global research and writing contributors on the UN SDG8 Guidebook – Full Employment and Economic Growth. With her international experience in human resources and employment issues, Beth has brought a balanced perspective to the team’s collaborative processes. Her curiosity about the root causes of the most pressing social issues pushes others to think beyond sustainability; restoration and reimagining systems is a unique talent that Beth brings to the table. As of this writing, she is also completing her CISR Expert Certification. Beth has developed advanced skills in continual improvement for social responsibility, including stakeholder engagement and analysis, process mapping, risk analysis, innovation and reporting. I highly recommend Beth Howell for any role that requires solid leadership skills and a deep well of emotional intelligence.
