Bio
Kevin Park
Beth was my supervisor at the Rhode Island Economic Policy Council from 2006 to 2007. She was a talented manager who created a welcoming and friendly work environment that encouraged me, coming straight out of college, to engage and contribute immediately. She provided the technical capacity and moral support for me to develop new skills and pursue my own studies, which were promoted and incorporated into the agenda of the Policy Council. Her own work in developing Scorecards measuring the health of the Rhode Island economy was widely respected and introduced to me the concept of telling stories with powerful visualizations of quantitative information. She is an asset to any organization that employs her, not only because her own work is so good, but she also makes those around her more productive and happy.
