  As an operative for Cardiff University Careers and Employability service I was tasked with handling forms that were to be completed over the phone with Graduates that had left the year previously. This entailed phoning Graduates,introducing myself and creating a friendly atmosphere for the conversation whilst then proceeding to gather the appropriate information to complete the forms. After forms were completed they had to be filed correctly by the Degree discipline. Within this role I worked as part of a small team whom was set a very strict target of at least 200 Graduates per evening and were motivated to contact as many individuls as possible.

  As a member of the Clarks team,I was required to fulfill both my own personal daily targets but also the set group target that was assigned for each department. The main duties that I was assigned were the roles mainly focusing on customer service,such as taking the measurements of the children's feet, creating a friendly bond with each child and if needs be calming them down ready for fitting. Also within the customer service area I was required to relate to older patrons of the shop,directing them to specific areas and assisting them in their needs within store. Training in stock replenishment and till handling were a regular duty, which I relished due to the variety that it brought to my working experience.
