During my time at Elsoms I worked extremely close with the Account Manager for 3rd Party Sales in Seed Treatment, providing support, inputting the sales onto NAV and communicating progress of all orders to all customers. I was the daily point of contact for all customer questions, queries and problems. I have built strong relationships with the account managers of all the key customers. I understand the procedure and processes involved in all aspects of 3rd party orders with inputting the sales onto NAV, keeping track of customer stocks, scheduling the treatments required and shipping once completed for every order for every customer. I interrogate the NAV system to provide the Production and Logistics manager with accurate forecasts to allow the purchasing of treatment materials, packaging and the provision of labour. I input and chase all POs for the Seed Treatment department. Above my day job I was appointed as a member of the Digital Champions, this group is to help with procedures to make the way of working easier for everyone, bringing up any IT issues to be resolved within our system and to design better ways of working. This in turn has helped make the process of 3rd party treatments more efficient, easier and quicker to obtain information out to our customers when they require it. I am a very fast learner, just two months into my role I quickly started to train others on NAV who had been working at Elsoms for many years. I am very quick to adapt to new ways of working. I have trained another Production Coordinator in Seed Treatment, managing their workload during the first few months of them being in the position. I pride myself on my strong organisational skills and able to work well under pressure. While the previous Account Manager was gaining the Tree Project with the Scottish Forestry Commission back in 2019 taking them out of the office, I was the only 3rd party contact for all customers during our busiest time of year managing both roles. I worked in a very fast paced busy office environment; Whirlpool is the biggest appliance company worldwide, so it is extremely important that I posses a professional mentality at all times. My job role is communicating with customers on a daily basis taking complaints, booking in repairs for their appliances and ordering parts out to them. Within my role I must: gather accurate information about the customer; insuring that data protection isn’t breached, communicate confidently while trying to solve any enquiries that the customer may have, log all information I am told onto the computer system accurately, order any parts needed for the repair to be carried out, liaising with engineers to ensure all appointments run smoothly and are accurate. I must also ensure that any data discussed remains confidential and all company compliance is adhered to, whilst offering expert advice regarding available protection plans/extended warranties on any products. As part of my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award I needed to complete three months of volunteer work; and I decided to volunteer at the Nursery. I acted as general support to the Nursery Manager, assisting where needed. This was a new working environment of which I settled into quickly; therefore I will draw upon this skill in any new working environment. Worked in the main office helping with Admin disrupting letters, assisted the school nurse and helped the exam officer by collating GCSE and A Level certificates. This enhanced my organisational skills as the work I carried out needed to be collated correctly due to the importance of students only receiving their own results.
