As a Healthy Stay Volunteer I worked independently, 1 on 1 with patients. The Physiotherapists would give me a sheet following rounds that outlined which patients they wanted me to visit and the patients general mobility abilities and limitations. During my sessions with the patients I would encourage various stretching, movements, walks, and more mobility based activities. For patients with little to no mobility I would simply sit, chat, and try to get their minds working. Hospital driven delirium in patients is often observed so my role was to try and get patient's body and mind active to help mitigate the effects of delirium.

These highly-analytical professionals' possess in-depth knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and equipment. Their duties include processing samples, classifying results, and recording findings.
