  I undertook an industrial year placement with Birtsmorton Court under the title of Wedding Assistant. My role was to support the Wedding Organisers with all aspects of planning, venue preparations and office administration, i also had the opportunity to plan an entire wedding completely by myself. I attained the role of Evening Events Manager which i managed in addition to my day time role, this involved ensuring the smooth running of the evening including crucial moments such as first dance, cutting of the cake, fireworks, speeches, evening food and party. My role was extended after my placement where i stayed on as Evening Events Manager until i returned to my university studies.
