Now, a multi-million pound company with rapid growth, we're pushing our goal one step further as we expand our product range to become ‘The Home of Comfort’. During my time at Love Leggings as their first Brand Manager moulding the growth of the marketing department, my key responsibilities have included; brand strategy including the creation of brand guidelines and materials, creation of the 12 month brand and marketing calendar, end to end campaign creation and execution, influencer and partnership marketing including macro influencer collaborations, PR and events, organisation and direction of the ecommmerce shoots for new products and also campaign content creation, managing the external PR agency, new business development, advertising and assisting with new product development. I manage a team of 3 partnership executives to drive our influencer marketing strategy as this has played a key part in our growth over the past year. Grafton International supply globally recognised health and beauty brands to professionals, retailers and consumers. With experience in both B2C and B2B, the majority of my time at Grafton’s was managing CARMEX Lip Balm, The Eyelash Emporium (professional and retail division) and 2AM London. Managing CARMEX focused primarily on end to end creative marketing campaigns to drive consumers into our national accounts (Superdrug, Boots, Primark, Tesco) and also our D2C site through influencer marketing, events, PR, radio advertising campaigns and brand collaborations. Both The Eyelash Emporium & 2AM London were owned brands, created in house for professionals and consumers. I was given the project management of creating the retail division for The Eyelash Emporium, a range of strip lashes and lash/brow related accessories that were sold into Superdrug, Missguided and Pretty Little Thing. I developed this range end to end, from initial strategy, competitor and market research, consumer trends, sampling, product selection, packaging design, commercial strategy, brand guidelines, content creation, brand and marketing strategy, product launch plan, presentation and pitching, in store display units and POS. My responsibilities managing these brands were;Product development, commercial strategy, brand and marketing strategy, in store display units and POS, content creation on photoshoots and in house for social, influencer marketing and collaborations, events and exhibitions, end to end creative campaigns. For all brands I was responsible for the 12 month brand and marketing calendar and managing the annual marketing budgets. Digital and Social Media Marketing Intern
-
May 2016 - Sep 2016
I have worked as an unpaid digital marketing intern for Hashtag CV who offer an online CV building system along with employability advice and resources. They operate prominently B2C, however do market B2B by offering affiliations of their software. My role included: creating and developing new marketing strategies within a zero budget, creating content and updating social media platforms daily, communicating with current and potential customers, email marketing campaigns, analysing data from google analytics and CYFE and conducting market research. I also assisted the graphic designer with content creation for campaigns and social media. My biggest contribution to the company during my time was suggesting a new section of the website, focused towards redundancy, as an outcome of market research I had conducted. Competitors were failing to provide support for those who have been made redundant, and research on social media highlighted the demand from real people in that situation. The idea was approved and I assisted with the written and graphic content creation, along with the overall design of the section. This is now a live part of the website. Show less
