The Code Council's codes, standards, and solutions are used to ensure safe, affordable, and sustainable communities and buildings worldwide. My current role formalizes the work I have been doing over the last several years. My dedication to serving our members and communities at large as a fire engineering subject matter expert and as an experienced staff in code development continues. In addition, I am taking more of a leadership and project management focus with the Reimagining of the ICCPC https://www.iccsafe.org/products-and-services/performance-code/ which is beginning in 2023 with a target publication of 2027. This activity will allow me to work within the ICC Consensus Standards Process (ANSI) in addition to my work with the ICC Code Development Process. I will continue to lead the Fire Code Action Committee Activities, play a key staff role in facilitating the development of the I-Codes and supporting technical excellence as it relates to fire and life safety in the new and existing buildings.

I also lead the Code Council's Fire Code Action Committee and several code development committees to address relevant code development needs with regard to fire and life safety in new and existing buildings and hazardous materials.
