Bio
Roberta Jacobs
I have had the opportunity to work with Beth in many capacities. As Director of The Rec in Troy; Beth was instrumental in providing many programs for the youth of our community as well as marketing the facility to other groups. I have also worked with Beth in several volunteer activities and she is detail oriented, organized and enthusiastic in whatever she is doing. I have always felt it an honor to work with Beth and she is an asset to our community and our youth.
Mary Anne Evans
Knowing that Beth was fully capable to be in my position as a paid youth director because she had done this sort of work before, I was humbled and grateful that she volunteered to be an advisor in my program. Her love of youth and subsequent counsel was apparent and exemplary. I counted on Beth to be the adult leader that I knew she was and I never, ever was disappointed. Her creative abilities brought much richness to the group and her sense of humor as well as her profound empathy meant that youth felt safe to be themselves in all circumstances. I would work with Beth again, in a heartbeat, as they say.
