Implemented water and energy metering infrastructure and monitoring software to enhance visibility of consumption and target investment priorities. Purchasing, Recycling and Waste • 63% reduction in waste to landfill over 3 years • Increased proportion of central office supplies meeting ethical and or sustainable criteria from 18% to 56% over 3 years. • Facilitated the removal of bottled water from the campus and enhanced access to sustainable water through the installation of drinking fountains across campus • Developed standards for external lighting to achieve optimum energy performance, improved pedestrian and cyclist safety and value for money. Sustainable Transport Action Plan - Managed project to identify strategic enhancements to pedestrian, disability and cycling access. Undertook procurement documentation for Stage 1 works. Integrated priority works into new and existing campus improvement projects. Community Engagement - Designed Education for Sustainability (EfS) initiatives (integrated academic coursework) including the initiation, implementation and evaluation of the Bottled Water Free UC campaign and the UC community garden.
