Led the Water District's Emergency Management, Worker Safety, and Security programs. Duties include: Interpreting and managing program budgets Ensuring financial stewardship of public funds Grant writing and award management Drafting agency policies and procedures Interpreting standards and laws to inform program scope and direction Ensuring employee engagement in workgroup/committees Ensuring compliance across all programs in portfolio (OSHA, State, and Federal Regulations for Water Industry) Utilizing project management skills to guide planning for critical infrastructure and asset management strategies across multiple years. Active member of the District's leadership/management team, which is responsible for strategic planning and performance management of the utility. Utilizing continuous quality improvement tools to build and grow programs in portfolio Responsible for the full cycle of Emergency Management functions (Preparedness, Planning, Mitigation, Response, Recovery) Responsible for 23 different worker safety programs as Safety Officer Conducted gap analyses to determine opportunities for organizational growth CRW provides clean, safe drinking water to a population of about 50,000 directly, and up to 80,000 people are served when the populations of wholesale customers are included. CRW has nearly 12,000 service connections, and maintains a distribution system consisting of approximately 262 miles of pipeline, 15 reservoirs, and 11 pump stations. Show less
