Whilst within this role at Country Child magazine, I managed a multitude of tasks on a daily basis. I was in charge of the magazine's social media channels; including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, and generated exciting posts using Hootsuite software. I created engaging and informative articles on a variety of different subjects, and designed the 'events and what's on' pages within the magazine. I managed the magazine's print and online events calendar, and generated multiple blog posts in relation to reviews of local entertainment and current news and events from the local schools and organisations. In addition to this, I also liaised with clients regarding their advertisements within the publications, and maintained positive and productive relationships with them. Examples of my work can be found within the Country Child events calendar, and on Country Child's blog, at: https://www.countrychild.co.uk/ Show less

Whilst studying at Cardiff University, I wrote articles for a variety of student-based publications, including JOMAG and Quench. I was also an avid member of the Cardiff University newspaper, Gair Rhydd, which was both generated and maintained by Cardiff Student Media. Examples of my articles can be found both in the publications themselves, as well as on the websites. An article published in Quench can be found here: http://issuu.com/gairrhydd/docs/quench152

My responsibilities as an undergraduate student at Cardiff University were quite broad, as they ranged from organisational to maintaining a high standard of work in relation to assignments and assessments. Although they could be difficult to manage at times, I am an incredibly organised person and completed tasks well in advance to avoid unnecessary stress.
