I created the blog Adventure After Cancer in part to share my advice and lessons learned to anyone else dealing with a cancer or breast cancer diagnosis. North Pacific Groundfish Observer

I serve as a biologist on fishing vessels in the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska. Species composition and fishing effort data are turned over to the National Marine Fisheries Service in order to maintain the resource's stability. Additionally, otolith collections, female maturity data, unique fish specimens, coral samples, and other assigned project data are also gathered and submitted to NMFS to assist in furthering our knowledge of the region's wildlife. Primarily responsible for scheduling clients, filing documents, and providing client needs such as copies of psychological appointments and medication needs. In addition to these tasks, I was later responsible for scheduling and coordinating psychological evaluations with Franklin County Children Services. These duties included reviewing referral paperwork, coordinating schedules for appointments, and transcribing the psychological evaluations as dictated by the psychologist.
