Beth and I were members of C.A.R.D.Ed. and TriBeta Biological Honors Society while studying at The College of Wooster. Beth's positive attitude and strong leadership skills made her an asset to both organizations. She was consistently on-time and prepared to execute all projects.

I created the blog Adventure After Cancer in part to share my advice and lessons learned to anyone else dealing with a cancer or breast cancer diagnosis. But its other goal is to share that life's adventures aren't over after cancer! I document my travels and life events both in written blog articles, as well as on my Instagram page, @AdventureAfterCancer. I serve as a biologist on fishing vessels in the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska. Species composition and fishing effort data are turned over to the National Marine Fisheries Service in order to maintain the resource's stability. Additionally, otolith collections, female maturity data, unique fish specimens, coral samples, and other assigned project data are also gathered and submitted to NMFS to assist in furthering our knowledge of the region's wildlife.
