Developed a novel polymorphic identification tool using powder Brillouin light scattering (p-BLS). Determined aggregated elastic moduli from p-BLS to design and synthesize supramolecular assemblies with anticipated physical and chemical properties. Analyzed crystal packing motifs by mapping the intermolecular interaction energies quantified using Crystal Explorer and experimentally determined topologies using p-BLS. Used Standard C Carver press and planetary micro mill to study shear-induced polymorphic transformations. Collaborated with the University of Minnesota to quantify mechanical properties of molecular solids and single crystals. Conceptualized, designed, executed, and interpreted small molecule data analyses and experiments. Performed weekly literature research to maintain up to date information regarding all involved projects. Communicated in cross-functional teams to present findings and collaborate with interdepartmental scientists. Contributed to the development/validation of cefepime, meropenem, piperacillin and tazobactam in human plasma using a sensitive and robust LC-MS/MS method. Completed minimal population models using Phoenix WinNonlin. Maintained GLP standards while working efficiently with other team members. Managed all produced waste using proper EHS procedures. Proctored compounding labs for PharmD students while maintaining proper EHS procedures. Provided direct exam prep and coding for ExamSoft.

Provided direct quality control for received raw and packaged materials while following proper ISO 9001 documentation. Analyzed packaged materials’ chemical and physical properties before product release and collaborated with operations involving quality control failures. Worked with other scientist to assist in regulatory audits. Collaborated with laboratory members to identify and implement continuous improvements in the preparation of samples for quality control and new products. Provided appropriate instrument maintenance when needed.

Screened ruthenium complexes for use in reusable resources through catalytic dehydrogenolysis activity. Utilized air/moisture-free manipulations to obtain 1,1'-(1,4-Butanediyl)bis(imidazole) for use in metal-based coordination as N-donor ligands.
