  Model United Nations is an extra-curricular activity in which students roleplay delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees. As a society member in my university, I attended national and international conferences and acted as a delegate from different countries. For this, I conducted weekly extensive research for each different country and specific topic, so that I could develop a position on world concerning issues, like capital punishment, female trafficking, privacy in the digital age, expansion of education into rural areas of developing countries and gender equality in education. Furthermore, I collaborated with a working group to create a comprehensive paper and delivered formal speeches to a large group of people. Show less
