Lonneke Van Rossum - Wassink

I worked with Bert as Legal Counsel for KLM Cargo. It is well known that Legal and Operations / Commercial are not always to be found on the same wave length. Bert and I however worked together on various matters and it was truly a pleasure working with Bert. Bert is the type of colleague who has an all round knowledge of technical, commercial, operational and cargo subjects which allows him to be able to approach and review a project or problem from all relevant aspects. As legal counsel it is great when you can work with someone with such experience who is also capable of explaining the procedures, concerns and requirements and can see the legal risks as well. It allowed for us to solve many issues in the most commercially and operationally positive manner.

Joep Bruijs

Bert is a operations manager with a lot of practical experience who is able to think on strategic level as well. He is very open minded to commercial issues in his operations role, and has a very pleasant way of working in order to make the trade offs between comercial and operational interests.
