To me, Bert has been a very pleasant leader. Giving responsibility and freedom to act, and at the same time providing guidance and assistance where needed. His social involvement and interest sets an example for any manager. Furthermore, Bert's sales skills ad knowledge of African business are impressive.

Bredenoord, The Powershop (the Netherlands and Belgium) and Horlemann Mobile Energy (Germany) together have founded The Event Power Group (EPG). EPG specialises in power supply for larger international events. In particular it concerns large sport events for which television-exposure and hospitality play an important role. In December EPG starts its first assignment during the FIFA Club World Cup Morocco 2014.For some years already, the three partners have demonstrated the quality of their combined service provision during several events such as The European Football Championships in 2012. Here they provided power for the hospitality as well as for the more critical broadcasting. The combination of strengths results in a complete service provision. For more than 75 years Bredenoord has been developing innovative solutions for power reliability. In Belgium and The Netherlands The Powershop is a well-known partner for temporary power solutions with years of experience in the international event industry. In Germany Horlemann Mobile Energy offers reliable services in the field of mobile power for events. This combination of experience can offer a unique quality to large worldwide events. EPG offers innovative tailor-made solutions to event organisers, with also attention for the reduction of adverse effects such as CO2-emission. The partners also develop new technical solutions by combining their expertise, for example in the field of low- and high voltage.
