6th Grade Social Studies Teacher
-
Jul 1997 - May 2000
During my first year working as a 6th grade social studies teacher, I taught world history. The state curriculum changed in 1998, and I taught the western hemisphere during my remaining two years at South Panola. I was named to the textbook committee in 1997 and helped select the history textbooks that would be used at the junior high school. I served as junior high cheer sponsor from July 1998 until May 1999, and I supervised a student teacher during the spring semester of 2000.
