Bernhard is one of the best leaders I've ever worked with and I can only recommend anyone to work with him. His knowledge - which spreads safely accross all areas of game development - and his attitude with any type of situation makes him a great front-face for the studio, internally and externally. Bernhard has the most important skillset an outstanding Head of Production needs to have: Extreme reliability, a focused mind, a healthy dose of pragmatism, the capability to quickly evaluate risks and mitigations, social skills, a high level of organization and a lot of technical understanding for the project he's leading. I worked with Bernhard for 7 years straight and he proved that he never capitulates to difficult decisions. He goes into every discussion open-heartedly, with the goal to achieve the best for his project and team. Additionally, Bernhard has reliable programming skills, hence an even more practical understanding of the work the developers in his team do and which problems they might face. This also helps him optimizing the software tools he needs for his daily work. Any project team would be lucky to have Bernhard as a lead.
