  Applied an object detection algorithm to automate the identification of defects in physical structures, assuring both the full detail of the images, along with all the available computing power were used. To handle the large images (21Mp), I leveraged the accuracy of Google’s DeepLabV3+ to segment and cut the important portions of the image and FasterRCNN’ s precision along with an overlapped sliding window to perform the defect detection.
