* Migration of all Penn Foster Network Server Data Backups to Barracuda Cloud. This new functionality allows for onsite and offsite cloud storage for seamless data restoration. * Implemented Security and Event Monitoring for the entire enterprise. The functionality allows intelligent analysis of thousands of event logs per minute for pinpoint alerting that increases security awareness to potential threats and resolution to security events. * Completed an expansion to computing and storage area network capabilities. This greatly improved our server infrastructure for disaster recovery and compute resources for the business. * Expanded Penn Foster Amazon Web Service and Microsoft Azure Data Center cloud environments to host additional web servers and storage. * Implementing major network infrastructure upgrade to replace the entire LAN, WAN and firewall technology at the Scranton operations center. * Implement Cloudflare to improve web server performance, internet security, and ddos protection. * All Penn Foster locations will be migrated over to Level 3 Communications MPLS for network connectivity including AWS. * Building new clustered web servers to further enhance our company's scope along with IIS, InfoBlox, Cloudflare, integration and configuration. * Build with Azure and AWS integration for developer applications. Responsible for systems/network administration for a 3000 user rehabilitation hospital. Implemented new technologies as directed by management. Built new physical servers for upcoming projects. Migrated existing servers to virtual environment. Stood up new virtual servers for projects, (including DNS, DHCP). Managed 8 domain controllers, along with 90+ physical servers and 90+ virtual servers across various Microsoft server versions. Monitor and make suggestions for best practice regarding internet speed by utilizing a Cisco wsa 100s. Using Barracuda appliances for email, I was then able to minimize spam and viruses inbound and outbound. Configured Exchange 2013 in a cluster and built a DAG. Worked with various vendors to achieve several project goals, including Dolbey Fusion dictation system, Shoretel VOIP, RightFax FOIP, Kronos timekeeping application, McKesson HPF project, dual Cisco 5545x firewall project. Manage, Maintain, and Support: WAN/LAN network infrastructure consisting of 30+ offices in Pennsylvania . This includes troubleshooting and performing maintenance on: Site-to-Site VPNs, Lan-to-Lan VPNs, ACLs, NATs, VLANs. Server/System infrastructure consisting of 90+ virtual servers in a VMWare ESX 5.5 environment and 90+ physical servers running Microsoft OS, and 11 servers running Novell netware 6.5 oes 2. This includes: backup maintenance utilizing Veeam and, VM snapshots, and any ongoing projects assigned by management. Exchange Email servers: 2 Exchange 2013 virtual servers and 1 physical Exchange 2013 server hosting 1800+ mailboxes. Work to complete any large/small projects assigned by management while also completing helpdesk tickets and other daily administrative duties. Manage all Microsoft patches and security fixes.
