  After concluding my 30 year career as an accountant and business consultant I am now considering opportunities to leverage off the experience gained working with some of Australia's best rural and agri business people, as well as one of Australia's most respected boutique accounting firms. My experience in advising seriously good operators in not just agriculture and agri business but in a range of other enterprises, as well as my experience in leading the Boyce team as Managing Director, all coupled with my own farm business experience sees me well placed to make a contribution to companies or larger family businesses with an appropriate culture who require these skills and experience.

  After completing his role as the firms Managing Director, Bernard concentrated his efforts on providing management consultancy services to a range of the firms clients.Bernard has considerable skills and experience working with both rural and non rural businesses and helping them with their strategic planning, business planning, expansion and acquisition plans, feasibilities, organisational structuring, tax structuring and complex tax planning, as well as estate planning and business and farm succession planning.Bernard has helped a great many farming families with the complex and challenging problem of managing their farm succession plans over the last 20 years.

  For 6 years ending in March 2015 Bernard was the Managing Director of Boyce. This role encompassed the leadership of a group of 12 directors and well over 100 staff.Bernard was responsible for leading the firms business planning, strategy and execution, as well as mentoring and development of fellow directors and senior staff.Bernard took a keen interest during this time in clarifying, maintaining and promulgating the firms unique culture as well as its strategic points of difference.He also oversaw a period of focused investment by the firm in the development of our IT capabilities in addition to several other major successful development initiatives undertaken under his leadership.Various divisional managers - HR, IT, Marketing, R & D also report into the firms MD.

With five offices strategically located in the major regional centres of Cooma, Dubbo, Goulburn, Moree and Wagga Wagga, we offer a complete range of business advisory, consultancy and accounting services tailored to our clients individual circumstances.During this period Bernard was a director providing business advisory and consultancy services as well as accounting and tax planning to clients in rural and non rural businesses. He also co-managed the Boyce Dubbo office together with the other directors in that branch. From March 2003 until March 2009 Bernard combined this role with his role on the firms Executive as Operations Director for the firm.
