Bernadette currently serves as an Archives Assistant at Sunnybrook Archives. She has completed the arrangement and description of the Department of Veterans Affairs Fonds and is currently engaged in two projects: transcribing oral histories and conducting research on medical education at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Bernadette demonstrated an advanced knowledge of the Rules for Archival Description and archival practices. She was able to work effectively in collaborating with other archives staff and while working independently on her projects. Bernadette and I have also worked together as reference librarians at York University. I have found her to be highly knowledgeable, able to adapt to various research needs and adept at navigating through the library's catalogue and databases. Bernadette had a very welcoming and encouraging rapport with students. Subject guides that Bernadette wrote and edited were highly functional and user friendly.
