  The main objectives of the research is to establish a methodology for the documentation of deserted dwellings and structures in rural Iceland. Further; to initiate research into the possibilities of re-utilization primarily focusing on the resources of the Icelandic rural vernacular in relationship to the cultural heritage, preservation and reuse. The research project started in 2011 and finished in 2014, and has issued 7 books - reports of preliminary findings. I participated in the 2nd, 3rd and fourth year of the research project. the research group consisted od 7-10 university students from various fields of study. Show less
