This was a UC San Diego Global Seminar which took place in Bern, Switzerland. During the duration of this program, I interpreted geological formations specific to the Swiss Alps. Additionally, I took part in two courses which focused on the volcanism of Europe and overall Geology of the Swiss Alps. This was a UC San Diego Global Seminar which took place in Bern, Switzerland. During my time as a participant in the CODE-GEO bootcamp, I devoted an entire week to develop and acquire new skills and tools to enhance my future endeavors. A scientific project was designed, and with the use of Lunix, GMT, and Shell Scripting data was analyzed to generate visual representations of findings. Lastly, a scientific poster was collaborately put together to display our findings and future proposed research. Conducted a literature review on data previously collected by the INGV on hydrothermal vents. Proved knowlage in the field by identifying geological features such as dikes, formation of stalactites, and catigorization of volcanic eruptions. Preformed data collection with CO2 and Radon meters on the volcanic islands of Vulcano and Lipari. Conducted a literature review on data previously collected by the INGV on hydrothermal vents. • Intern
      • Aug 2019 - May 2020

During my time as an Intern at the City of Lindsay City Hall, I worked under the supervision of the Civil Engineer Neyba Amezcua. She had two projects going on at the time which focused on re-constructing two main paths of roads in the city while also managing the construction of new businesses. I had the opportunity to step out into the field with her and conduct inspectations, look over plans, and work on filing past granted permits and paperwork for all City of Lindsay residents. Worked approximately 10 hours a week with an afterschool program (STARS) during the school year assisting learners from the Kennedy Elementary school site with their homework assignments. During my time working with the Lindsay Unified School District I also had the opportunity to work through Washington Elementary during the summer school program, in which I took on the role of being the leader of an entire classroom in directing students after their class lessons. During this intensive week I was placed in a group with other indivisduals in which we worked together to generate a plan to effectively place solar panels on a residence. As a group we assigned roles to each individual in order to generate a presentation with our plan and solution. Our presentation was composed of company objective and products. Alltogether, we attempted to pursuade a group of engineers to purchase our product.
