  I was in charge of the web area in the marketing and communication department of the Techint Group. From that position did development and maintenance of internet and intranet sites as well as consulting in design and usability of new interactive projects. Here are some projects I developed: http://www.tenaris.com/ Tenaris is a global leader in the production of steel pipes and services for drilling, completion and production of oil and gas wells, and a leading supplier of tubular products and services for processing plants and power generation for specialized industrial applications and automotive. The website is composed of 17 subsites for the different plants around the world and its different types of products. Site content is edited through a custom-developed CMS. The site is published in 6 languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian and Japanese). TenarisToday Tenaris News Intranet. It has 10 local views and all content is published in 6 languages simultaneously using a CMS. It is possible to enrich the news using any type of multimedia content (audio, video, photos, photo galleries, photo essays, flash).   I was leader and responsible for the complete development of the new version of the site. This project included: the modularization of scripts to allow the organization of multiple parallel congresses; the development and implementation of a system of graphical templates to separate the information from its representation; the development and implementation of translation system in order to run the tool in several languages; the implementation of an online help system; the development and implementation of a system of virtual meetings with online voting; the development and implementation of a system of an integrated mailing system linked to the events posted at the site; the development of a new simplified graphical interphase customized to the user tasks and attributions in a given congress. The site works on a Linux/Apache server, programmed in PHP and with MySQL databases.
