Contributed for development of a new framework which uses SOA, Service Oriented Architecture, by using the latest spring modules rest web services and spring JDBC with Oracle database by using different approaches like Cursor, JSON, String and data formats like xml and JSON. Test using JMETER load testing tool to check the performance and choose one approach for the other projects which we are going to replace. And also I created a web service which is reusable and maintainable using the approaches we choose from the Demo App and help the team to integrate it with the front end application. Achievements: • Optimized the performance by testing the code using JMETER to choose the best approach and zipping mechanisms by enabling Gzip to be used by filtering the data that we are sending to the front app and by adding configurations on the server to understand zipping and unzipping the data • install JBOSS server on the development environment for three projects and configure connection pooling, secure protocol https, Gzip and logging. • enable Authentication for the web Service APIs’ to make it accessible only for valid users by using spring Interceptors. • create mentionable code that we can reuse it for any project by only changing the property files which are not included on the code so that when a new screen or new project comes we can use it with out redeploying the application again and again. • Implement Spring AOP for logging to avoid code redundancy • create documentation by using Java Doc and also documents like how to use the application by only writing the property file and how to setup the the code locally. • until I leave the main application was being used by two other projects. • Technical Environment: Java, Spring (AOP, DI, interceptors), Spring rest template, Jackson, JaxB, Spring JDBC, Spring Tool Suit (STS), wildfly, JBOSS Oracle, Mac OX
