Leading the project and building consultancy covering the UAE and Middle East, day to day this involves managing the most experienced team in the region and providing key technical advice to both local and international clients. As head of the building consultancy, I led CBRE’s nationwide professional services offering in New Zealand, providing key advice to clients in the industrial, commercial, retail, leisure and hotel sectors, acting for owners, occupiers and funding institutions. The role had specific focus on technical due diligence including full CapEx analysis for prospective acquisitions and disposals across various sectors. Recent examples include; retirement village complexes, commercial office building portfolio’s and retail precincts. I also completed project management services on behalf of a range of clients in all sectors including; commercial, retail, industrial and education sectors which included refurbishment and upgrade to enhance owner/occupier space and projects including extensions and new build instructions to aid clients occupational growth requirements and for investment purposes. Other service offerings included make good schedules (dilapidation's) acting for either landlord or tenant at the termination of commercial lease periods, schedules of condition at lease commencement to aid the make good process at lease expiry, life-cycle analysis and asset maintenance plans for all types of commercial property.
