The Energy Foundation is America’s largest funder of clean energy policy advocacy and research, with a goal of reducing carbon emissions from the utility, transportation, and buildings sectors. Over a 13 year career with the Foundation, I dispensed over $65 million to dozens of organizations working on utility efficiency, renewable energy, and biofuels. My main area of focus was renewable electricity, where my grant-making, strategic development, and management contributed to the adoption of policies that will increase demand for non-hydro renewables to at least 10 percent of US power supply by 2025.
