As an Account Specialist at Rice insurance I work with Account Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Financial record keeping. Through Rice I have experience in AMS360, Paylocity, and Quickbooks Desktop software. My tasks include maintaining Employee records for payroll, tracking earnings and deductions, running the payroll process, reconciling employee hours, and doing payroll journal entries for the 125+ employee company. I spend a lot of my time on the AR part of the business. As an employee at an Insurance Broker we deal with a lot of Trust money, both collecting and distributing of the funds. I do a large majority of the invoicing of clients, and run Accounts Receivable for the two most complex business sectors of the company.
