As a Field Commissioning Engineer at BaselineES I collaborated with Resident Service Technicians, Installation Contractors, and other Baseline Engineers to optimize facility performance, and reduce overall energy usage. Baseline provides a wide array of services to our customers including new construction/ remodel commissioning, existing facility recommissioning, engineering consulting and design, energy and maintenance project management, and construction project management. My role at Baseline demanded self-management, prioritization, the ability to effectively communicate with people of both technical and professional backgrounds, and strong project managerial skills. Collaboratively with other engineers I was responsible for the effective roll-out of an energy initiative targeting energy conservation at >400 Ahold stores in the Northeast. I was required to perform tasks including: • Effectively convey projects engineering theory and design to technicians • Interpret electrical schematics/ drawings to manage project installation • Program building control systems (Danfoss and Emerson) • Quickly solve and resolve building control system issues • Maintain facility conformance to the latest engineering drawings • Supervise technicians during facility visits • Use excel, write excel equations and visual basic code to calculate and monitor energy usage • Assist in compilation of energy rebate applications Show less
