Popular science seminars management was an exploitation initiative looking for solutions inside and for the existing market with predictable budgets. The predictability increased the fit and alignment of the scientific event management organization with evolutionary changes that occurred in the marketplace (lowering costs, modifying product to accommodate customer requirements). It involved rigorous up-front planning, documentation of plans, and progress to improve communication and commitment, and decision gates that secured sponsors buy-in. Gate reviews requiring a specific set of deliverables were based on objective criteria that reflect what the association knew to be important for project success. Project team members committed to precise project parameters and freeze product specifications early in the development process.• Developing and implementing standards• Developing personnel through mentoring• Multiproject Management• Facilitating organizational learning• Managing stakeholders• Recruiting and selecting team members• Executing specialized tasks for projectsCustomers:Public and private sponsors and partners.End users / event:30 to 100 attendees (600+ people total)free attendanceProject teams (scientists; PhDs, Post-docs, Professors):6 volunteer staffs30 speakers + moderatorsProduct:Popular Sciences Seminars on neuroscience and nutrition (fundamental research)local language (French)Cities:Lausanne - Fribourg - NyonMarketing:1 website ((https://www.apero-sciences.ch)1 radio-show «C’est que du bonheur» avec Amaëlle” on Radio Fribourg (guest).1 animated 1 minute pitch video2 articles by AESSP (focus of)Collaboration:École d'ingénieurs de Changins (https://www.changins.ch/apero-vino-sciences.html#form-sub)
