As a manager, Benoit has great people and communication skills. Always listening to his employees, he knows how to manage a large amount of information and is solution-oriented. As a quick thinker, he brings new ideas to life to facilitate the tasks and the harmony within the team. I used to work closely with Benoit on the communications and events aspects of the company. It was a pleasure to share fresh ideas with him and to work together to reach our goals. Calm and understanding, he is an excellent team player and stays focused on the company’s values. Benoit is a hard working individual and able to manage several projects at the same time. I would recommend him for any position in management, marketing, communications or events.

In his quality as head of the Music Committee, Benoit was in charge of liaising with the performers of the Fête de la Musique in Vancouver, BC, ensuring the musical diversity of the event, and managing all the schedules, inquiries and logistical requests from the 150 registered bands. This being the first edition of the Fête de la Musique in Vancouver, Benoit and his team had to come up with their own project management tools and reporting system - and given the scope of the event, his ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work under stress came in handy more than once! In spite of a tight timeline, Benoit demonstrated his persistence and commitment by staying focused and within deadline until the very end, without ever putting undue pressure on his team. His calm demeanour and friendly attitude made him a pleasure to deal with throughout this project. I would recommend him to any employer looking for a dedicated, ambitious, and team-oriented project manager.
