  The statistical parameters of four semi-permanent features during the southwest monsoon - (i) Heat low at the surface, (ii) Mascarene High at the surface, (iii) Tibetian anti-cyclone at 200 hPa level and (iv) the Tropical Easterly Jet at 100 hPa level are determined for the months of June, July, August and September and the season June-September using NCEP reanalysis dataset based on 60-year data of 1960-2019.
