Euromir 94 & 95 were the first endeavours with ESA astronauts onboard the Russian Space Station MIR. ESA engaged in a programme including 2 missions, '94 with Ulf Merbold onboard for 30 days and '95 with Thomas Reiter onboard for 179 days. As Mission Scientist I defined and organised the Life Sciences experimental programme for the two missions. We worked in the Moscow region on these missions for a period of 3 years - a fantastic experience. Euromir 94 & 95 were the first endeavours with ESA astronauts onboard the Russian Space Station MIR.
