Benn is by far the best manager I’ve ever had. It’s been a real privilege working with him. He is someone who empowers his team and has absolute trust in all his team members. Because of this - it allows us to better advise and guide the stakeholders across BUs effectively and to work on marketing plans efficiently. We were also able to propose and roll out many new initiatives/ ideas (e.g. deals/ UGC campaigns) and it instilled a sense of ownership and pride in all of us. He's always receptive and approving of proposals and ideas, giving us the full autonomy to run things end-to-end. Benn is a supportive manager as well. He will always be sure to rid blockers should we encounter any during our work, and will not hesitate to back us up if things doesn’t make sense. He is also an understanding manager. There were times when we got super busy and certain items had to take a backseat, he did not once question our ability to deliver. When things get overwhelming, he's able to provide the sense of assurance (via casual chats) and will always be sure to check in on us; making sure that we are enjoying our work amidst the chaos. He created a safe space for us at work so we can focus our energy and attention 100 percent on actual work - this is not easy to achieve, and is something that I didn’t take for granted. This drives output, which eventually benefits the company. As a product marketing lead, he is always focusing on the end users and ensuring that we are listening to what the users want. This is important as more often than not, as the company grows, we tend to push out the benefits we think people will want rather than actually listening to what the end users want and incorporating their voices into our plans. He will not hesitate to fight for what's right and what’s best for the consumers in the best interest of the company. Benn is truly an asset to the company and I’m confident he will always be able to make a huge, positive impact wherever he goes.
