I was hired specifically to help with construction management at multiple HFH affiliates as part of a construction collaboration effort by HFH Chicagoland. I work primarily out of the Dupage office but am helping to rebuild the construction program at the Chicago South Suburbs affiliate. While management is my primary focus, my duties include daily supervision of volunteers, safety, and all construction methods. Leading unskilled volunteers in the methods of construction, safety, tool use, etc. requires exceptional multitasking abilities, teaching abilities, and an unending positive attitude to ensure volunteers have the best experience possible.
