During 2019-2022 I led all aspects of strategy, operations, and personnel for SICCS, one of NAU's flagship interdisciplinary academic schools, with roughly 100 full time faculty and staff, nearly 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students around the world, over 20 academic programs, and an elite research faculty executing well over $10 Million per year in sponsored research projects. Despite the COVID-19 crisis, we succeeded in defending and growing faculty capacity and student enrollment, launching a number of successful new online and in-person programs, maintaining the largest international student cohort on campus, more than doubling graduate enrollment, securing continued program accreditation, and increasing research activity.
