In the field of marketing and comms, it's surprising how often the basics are overlooked when it comes to communicating the strengths of your brand and assisting media outlets to help tell your brand's story. I've worked with Ben over the course of a decade on various content creation projects, and he rose above and beyond, time and again, on every job. The world of Supercars racing is often presented as a closed shop to general media, but in his role at DJR Team Penske, Ben toppled barriers and sliced through red tape in order to help me produce a number of stories that really resonated with our audiences - stories that simply wouldn't have happened without Ben's amazing work ethic, bulging contacts book and never-give-in ethos. I'm actually shocked that a company would allow such a talent to escape their grasp, but this coronavirus pandemic takes no prisoners. I have absolutely no doubt that Ben will find a new position quickly; as one of the brightest lights in the automotive comms game, I wish him all the very best.
