I spent two months with Foundations Zambia, helping with training smallholders in CA and running compost workshops. Conservation agriculture (CA) is a land management practice developed as a remedy to the Great Dust Bowl in 1930s America. Since then, with the support of the FAO, this practice has spread throughout arid environments worldwide. Particularly in areas where top soil erosion is common.
