I recommend studying underneath Dr. Twining. From my experience at USC studying underneath him, was a privilege and a joy. I learned far more than I would of by any other research advisor at USC. He was diligently patient with me, with all my dumb questions. He provided the guidance that was needed, from technical writing assistance to paper recommendations, and laboratory technique suggestions. He also provided fun and joy to the lab. Anyone who is considering work alongside him or underneath him, I highly recommend as he will help you greatly along your career path to give you the science experience you need.
