As one of two developers for Thinknow I was involved in development of all software projects. I developed and maintained a React-Native based mobile application (Attenteo) which provides users interactive tools and lessons for learning about and managing their attention. I developed and maintained a React-Native based mobile application (Attenteo) which provides users interactive tools and lessons for learning about and managing their attention. Building out all the features of Attenteo required using and developing, among other things, audio/visual experiences, game-engine style loops, rich data displays, and a small-scale CMS for lessons. In addition to the mobile application I also worked on the entire backend infrastructure to support the mobile application. We built and maintained a RESTful API to allow the mobile app to persist data in a relational database as well as a web-based dashboard for administrator use. My job included managing the hosting and deployment of the web-portals, API, databases, and mobile app through services like AWS and Expo as well as integrating with many other third party services such as Firebase.
