This position involves working with the management team to contribute to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, and procedures. The position also interacts directly with the board of directors of the company. During my first year at this position, I was able to recoup up to approximately 80% of all long outstanding receivables for the company. I saved the company from paying more in bank charges by combining payments of invoices to the same institution where possible. I also ensured that all fund transfers from the company’s foreign currency bank accounts to local currency accounts were made at the best exchange rates by negotiating the exchange rates with our bankers.During my 3-month probationary period at this post, my salary was increased twice.
