This included all trailers that came through blast process and their associated parts.- Cleaned all debris around the welds. Buffed out any imperfections in the steel. Applied body filler to all pinholes, scratches, chips, and minor dents. Prepared the body filler application by sanding all areas to a smooth finish. Blew off all debris and dust preparing every piece ready for the paint booth.- Blasted trailers and their associated parts to specific profile depth to allow proper paint adhesion. - Applied primer on bare metal on various sizes of trailers and parts to a specific mil thickness for quality assurance purposes. Prepared primed surfaces of any imperfections prior to applying the top coat application. - Properly mixed the paint prior to the application process to the required viscosity to allow for proper flow out. - Applied various paints; poly urethanes, DTM urethanes, marine coating applications, under coating liners. - Achieved quality paint applications that met the quality assurance guidelines by using a wet mil gauge to determine the correct thickness of the paint application. - Repaired poor quality trailers by masking off the affected areas for overspray and fixing the associated areas to proper paint quality approval.
