AgJunction is a global leader of advanced guidance and auto-steering solutions for precision agriculture applications. This role entailed managing Global software testing and hardware kitting teams based in Australia, Europe and USA. My success in this role relied on my ability to collaborate with all key stakeholders to ensure communication was maintained and that project requirements and outcomes were met in a timely fashion. Working in conjunction with, and reporting to the Company Executive team is a key factor in ensuring that all organisational targets and objectives were delivered. Having been accustomed to working closely with the executive team has resulted in excellent oral, verbal and written communication skills. From a technical perspective it is essential that I have a high level of understanding of the software and new technology in order to manage the team effectively as well as create, update and maintain the processes and procedures for testing new software. This was also essential for the management of the hardware kit design team.

Global Systems Integration Manager

Topcon is a Global leader in precision agriculture technology. This highly technical and hands-on position entailed managing a World-wide team of system integration engineers and designers. Key tasks for this project-oriented role included contributing to all aspects of system integration including design, needs analysis, design review, testing, implementation and validation. I analysed sales to prioritise team work load. Working directly with key account clients I ensured that their specific objectives were met through research and evaluation which enabled me to recommend optimum systems/equipment/technologies based upon client business needs. I thrived in the challenge of the diversity of the tasks in a highly technical environment. My technical knowledge was utilised through drafting technical instructions, technical designs (CAD), validation report and installation guides. I worked very closely with my internal stakeholders including those engineers and software designers in my team, as well as the executive team to ensure that we established products and services inline with company objectives.

As a dual trade qualified diesel mechanic/fitter and auto electrician with Komatsu my role involved diagnosing, overhauling, repairing, maintaining and testing diesel vehicles and mining plan equipment. My high work ethic and ability to learn new concepts was evidenced in Komatsu nominating me as apprentice of the year 3 years in a row. My ability to liaise with all stakeholders and to ensure tasks were completed in accordance with Komatsu policies and procedures meant that I was selected to supervise and train apprentice technicians within months of qualifying as a tradesman. I thived on the challenge of diagnosing and fault finding, whilst adhering to strict time frames. At all times I maintained an excellent relationship with leading hands and management alike.
