Greater Philadelphia Area Throughout the course of ten-weeks, I was assigned to complete and compile a prostate cancer database with over one thousand patients. The design of the study and database was to establish correlations between robotic prostatectomies using the Da Vinci Robot device against traditional open surgery. Among the various fields of data, some of the more emphasized surgical problems were estimated blood loss, duration of surgery, hemostatic agents used, and post-surgical complications.
