During my internship at Consulting Engineer Services, I worked under a supervising engineer and was tasked with duties involved in municipal site planning, printing site plan sets, and gained extensive experience in site inspection work. CES offered me multiple opportunities and was a great working environment. At Gannett Fleming, I primarily worked with fellow EITs and PEs and aided in their everyday projects. Gannett Fleming exposed me to various Highway Engineering projects such as resurfacing projects on state highways, guide-rail installation calculations and design, and ADA curb ramp designs. Gannett Fleming was a great working environment for my first internship and gave me an everyday understanding of what happens at a consulting firm.
