Note: I still maintain a relationship with Liberty Entertainment Group as one of my awesome clients through TorontoCreatives.com. As the Senior Graphic Designer to this Toronto Hospitality power-house I worked under the Creative Director developing / evolving the Liberty Group brands; presentation packages; websites and advertising / promotional design for all thirteen (then distinct) Liberty Group venues. Additionally I was directly involved on the development of their most successful brand (Cibo Wine Bar); as well as the lead designer on the presentation materials developed to secure the purchase of Toronto's Historic Casa Loma by Liberty Entertainment Group. Brad J Lamb Realty Inc remains one of Toronto's most notable urban real estate companies with over $8 billion in real estate sold. I worked with this dynamic team from 2004 to 2006 in the roll of Advertising Coordinator. More than a typical design / artistic roll this furthered my project management skills right out of school. On top of designing real estate mailers; property brand visuals; and other marketing / internal presentation material, I was also responsible for ad mail coordination; media buying budget management and even managing the occasional sales centre on the weekends (Spire, Toy Factory Lofts, Garment Factory etc.). I was hired by Metroland Media (TorStar) as a part-time (full-time in the summer) Graphic Designer while still attending High School. I worked on advertising design and editorial design around my school hours (mostly at night) reporting to the Managing Editor at the Uxbridge and Oshawa offices respectively. I gained great hands-on experience in the publishing Industry and from a technical standpoint, it made my time at Humber College (which I left Metroland to attend) a breeze. Accomplishments The Youngest Graphic Designer to Work for Metroland Media / TorStar ever (to date). Skills Used Intuitive problem solving and natural skill as I hadn't even attended school for design at this point. Show less
