I was a new engineer on the Drive Data Protection team. While on this I headed up all of the logging and regulatory implementation for Google Drive. This involved working across teams in Drive, writing code in different systems to implement said logging requirements, and the creation of tooling to enable this. The best thing I did was Drive Common Auth, which was a specification language for controlling server access that became widely used in Drive. After that, I went to Drive Video where I lead the creation of a new server for handling all video asset creation and playback in Drive. This involved working with a dozen+ clients, as well as much of Drive internal as we turned up this server and replaced the older infrastructure. Show less
